The first 5 weeks of the fishing in Ascension are over and what the crews have seen there reminds of "Jurassic Park". Some monster Blues over 900 lb have been hooked and Trevor Cockle with God's Favor weighed one 1145lb and one 1337 lb Blue Marlin. Andromeda and Shy also caught some good size Yellowfinn Tuna, Big Eye Tuna, Sailfish, White Marlin, Spearfish, Makos, Six Gills and various species of jacks. Night time was good fishing for swordfish and trolling lures seened to work best. The biggest sword landed so far weighed 250 lb. Everyone is now home for Christmas and the fishing will start again mid January.
